Ostuni       -      Only 5 to 7 minutes drive, about 8 miles distant from our houses in Pantanagianni.

       Ostuni is now a famous  place, a must see for anybody visiting Apulia, located on a little hill with al it's white little houses, it's not a case that it is  renowned like the white city "La Città Bianca".                                                  Arriving in a summer evening in Ostuni, you have the impression people never goes to sleep, all the little shops that lights up the historic centre of the town will stay open till morning, welcoming tourist from anywhere.                                     All kinds of people walking in the cool of the night along the streets and the “extramurale”, a road that turns around the centre looking at the sea, in every corner there is an attraction, someone who dances, the other sings and plays a guitar, or who knows what, another invites you to taste a specialty of the local food, an so on for the all night, in every summer night.             During the day looks like everyone disappears, it’s normal, they all go to the many places the coast offers, to get the pleasure of this light blue sea, where the water is crystal  and clean.  Another occasion, not to lose, is the weekly street market on Saturday morning, you’ll find everything you need, including the so fresh vegetables and fruits this red land give us everyday.
